Sugarplum Chateau Complete Collection Download
The Sugarplum Château — Festive Sewing Pattern Collection | PDF Download
Welcome to The Sugarplum Château — a gloriously faded little Christmas world of old gold crowns, dusty plum tulle, tiny mice and one rather magical Sugarplum Fairy.
This is a 29 page digital sewing pattern collection, created for slow winter afternoons, pots of tea, old films and the delicious pleasure of making something entirely by hand.
Inside the Château you’ll make:
The Sugarplum Fairy — with embroidered wings, layers of faded tulle and lace, tiny stitched boots and her little golden crown.
The Mouse King — a splendid fellow in golden trousers, embroidered coat, lace ruff and crown.
The Mouse Queen — dressed in plum and mauve with beautiful embroidered details and her own tiny crown.
The Garland of Five Ballet Mice — five little crowned dancers in tulle skirts, ready to string together with ribbon and whatever extra fancies you happen to have tucked away.
Your PDF includes
Beautifully illustrated, step-by-step making instructions, full-size printable templates, embroidery designs and inspiration, a stitch guide and all the guidance you need to make the complete Sugarplum Château collection.
The patterns have been designed to be approachable rather than frightening. You don’t need to be an expert stitcher — a little patience, a needle and thread, and a willingness to make something slightly wonky and utterly lovely will do very nicely.
A note about materials
The Sugarplum Château was designed with faded fabrics, old lace, bamboo-blend cotton wadding, wool-blend felt, tulle, embroidery threads and little scraps of treasured haberdashery.
Please don’t feel everything has to match mine exactly. In fact, I rather hope it doesn’t. Rummage through old sewing boxes, rescue forgotten ribbons and use those peculiar little scraps that have been waiting years for their moment.
And if your sewing box needs a little assistance, The Wilderstitch Haberdashery is opening very soon, with many of the lovely materials and trimmings used throughout the Château.
PLEASE NOTE — DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
This listing is for a DIGITAL PDF sewing pattern collection. No physical item or materials will be posted to you.
You can download your files after purchase and begin whenever you’re ready.
The Sugarplum Château is intended for personal use only. The patterns, instructions, illustrations and designs may not be copied, redistributed, resold or reproduced commercially.
So light a candle, find your embroidery scissors and put something suitably old and Christmassy on the television.
The doors to the Sugarplum Château are open.
Where fairytales are handmade.
